My personal reading history.

Growing up I don’t remember reading any books it was never on my mind even my parents never attempted reading any sort of book for me, where I lived it was a low class area so the society did not have any interests in books unless it was a magazine full of gossip then they would read it, many people thought that reading is boring and it was for losers so growing up in that environment reading was never part of my life.

Starting high school required a lot of reading and it was a huge challenge that I had to face because reading was never enforced nor encouraged in my house, I struggled to read and I was not very much open to reading any books for my personal pleasure I would only read novels given at school, I was forced to read them because it involved my academics.

The time I started university I found a new hobby which was reading, I was encouraged and persuaded by my friend to just read few books that did not have much pages and I started by reading Whitney’s kiss novel and some few books that I cannot recall proper, at this stage reading is much more enjoyable and relaxing and therefore it gives you a sense of reasoning and it reveals some things that you never knew about life and end up learning a lesson from just a book without you having to experience it.
